As a person who does believed in love at first site, it was easy to find romance where ever I went. I myself have fallen into fates hand when I met my husband and married eleven days later. Now, we just celebrated our ten year anniversary with four children. I never regret a single day, and love him more and more with each passing hour.
I was never much of a writer in school. I enjoyed mostly poems, but anything longer never held my interest. When I decided to go back to school I learned that writing can be therapeutic. With my MBA complete, my time was spent watching the grass grow. When a friend challenged me to actually write a book better than the one she was reading. I toyed with the idea, and now here I am today. I have found a hidden passion that allows my wild side to come out while keeping the romance together. I would love to hear from all of you. Unlucky [Lucky, Montana 2]

Coming May 21st!

Story  Excerpt
Since as long as she could remember, Piper has had nothing but bad luck. Just when things started to look up, they went downhill. Despite that she had two jobs, one as a manager of day spa and the other her hidden passion as a romance author. Currently she was in the process of moving out of her apartment because it was the third time it had been broken into. This of course happened after she had fallen at work and sprained her ankle on the way out after she had been laid off at the spa due to the decline in the economy. Then her publisher called and said her last book was good, but it needed to have a more in-depth look, so she needed to make changes within a two-month time frame. She was stuck as to what to do next. Crap, she was having such a bad day, and to top off the pile of shit, someone had slashed her tires. She was at her breaking point and needed to get out of the city. After talking to her friend Sam, who lived up north, she decided it was time to pack her bags up and leave. Hoping to make a new start, to try and gain some sort of good luck, Piper headed off to Lucky, Montana.

Piper Andrews was a simple girl, who many people would never give the time of day. She started writing romance novels right out of college after receiving her Bachelors in business management and marketing. Soon she found herself working at the spa up the street after she wanted to look nice for a date, which she was stood up at. Now here she was at the age of twenty-six, jobless, homeless, and alone. She was grateful she had Sam to fall to. She and Sam met when they both went away to camp one year during the sixth grade and since then, they letter-passed, spent summers together, until they both got accepted into the same college. Now Sam was in Lucky, and Piper, well she was just plain unlucky.

   Piper’s  first published books
were short. She did not want it to jeopardize her actual work, so she printed under a  pen name. Soon the fan base grew, and the demand for her creative talents of descripted sex scenes drew higher ratings. Yet she continued to write under her pen. As the times changed, more people wanted a change from steamy cowboys on  the ranch to a hardcore alpha male spanking his submissive into orgasm. Her first book of the series went to number one, but as the second came close, she found she was lacking material, or that is what her publisher thought as well. So  here she was, off on her adventure to start a new life.

Piper knew that Sam was excited for her best friend to come and stay with her. Sam had promised her that it was for the best. Sam knew that she had had a hard time with her life in general. Sam told her that she had never met a person who had such bad luck. She joked with her that if she didn’t have bad luck, she would have no luck at all. Piper asked if she could just take door number two with no luck. She and Piper
have gotten closer in the last couple of years and felt like they were more sisters than anything else. Piper grew up in foster care homes, and each year they sent kids to camps. That was where the two of them met. Piper was shy and stayed to herself with her nose in a book.

The day they met, some kids were picking on her, and one took her book and threw it into the water before pushing her down to the ground. Sam came up and hit the girl, helped her up, and since that moment, they had been inseparable. Sam was a twin to her brother Milo, who was in the military. She and Sam stayed close. Sam had also mentioned that she had soon became fast friends with Riley, a woman who just moved into town, and was excited that they all three would become friends.

Piper had always been there for Sam. When her parents passed away from a car accident while she and Sam were in
college that was the first time she had met Milo. Piper had a secret crush on Milo, and not many people knew he was the first male character in her book that turned into an instant sensation. Milo, however, always saw Piper as a nerdy girl with glasses Sam helped at camp one year.

Getting to Lucky took forever, but soon enough her green piece of crap came driving up to Sam’s small two-bedroom house. Piper’s car was small, but she refused to sell it as it was the first thing Piper had bought with her own money  that actually belonged to her, and Sam respected that and didn’t force the issue. Sam had always had family to rely on before her parents’ death, and even after that she had her aunt and Milo. However, Sam was Piper’s family, and she  would never trade that for anything.

Adult Excerpt

“Did I say you could look up at me,
Red? So far your punishments are adding up. Do you know what I am going to do to you, my sweet little toy? Do you know why I am going to punish you?” asked Milo.

“Yes, sir. Because I looked at you?” Piper was hoping that was the reason, but the way he said she had it coming made her think that maybe she did something prior. That doesn’t count, does it?

“That will only get you five, toy. No, I am talking about the way you dismissed me when you were hurt at the wedding. Not even a second look. I was so fuckin’ pissed, and you sent my ass packing. I wanted so bad to  take you over my knee then and there. Instead, I walked away. But listen to me  good, Red. No more, do you understand me? I will not be something or someone you dismiss. You are my toy until I say otherwise. Are we clear?” Milo voice resonated to every fiber in her body, and her pussy was singing with anticipation of what this delicious man was going to do to her body. It was not fear, but the desire to want more from this man that sent her reeling. She had sent him away only because she was embarrassed by what happened. She did not want Milo to see her weak. He was such a strong man within his own right that she, too, wanted to be strong to be with him.

     “Yes, sir,” she said
again. She felt Milo walk over to her this time and pet her head like a small animal. The feeling was odd but comforting to her. She stayed as still as possible so as not to disappoint him. Her juices were starting to run down her leg, and she feared she would have created a puddle on the floor before she stood up. Piper heard him pulling  something from his pocket as he started to take off his belt that held all his items, the he set it on the chair next to the door. His radio sputtered quietly in the background, and she could see the shiny black of his gun next to it. Suddenly she felt a piece of fabric being bound along her lower arm and wrists. It felt like it was her robe tie that was sitting right next to his  belt now. He was binding her hands behind her back. With a swift move, he lifted her to a standing position.

“Keep your eyes down, toy, and I promise you will be rewarded for listening to me. I want a closer look of what is mine.” Piper felt his hands on her naked shoulders, skimming the tips of his fingers along her collarbone to her center. From there, his touch continued downward toward her breasts. Slowly, too slow for Piper, he traced the outside of her nipple before grasping her breast with both hands, holding them in place and giving them a gentle squeeze.

Piper felt him lean into her as she was able to smell his body wash tickle her nose. He smelled clean, and a hint of coffee lingered within his scent. “Who do these belong to, toy?” he whispered into her ear.

     “You, sir,” replied Piper.

“Good answer, Red. Now tell me, who does this belong to?”
he asked as he released his hold on her breasts and slid down to her belly.

     “You, sir,” she acknowledged.

“Right again, toy. Now how about this?” His nimble
fingers slid around to her ass and grabbed her cheeks, massaging them as his breathing increased along her ear.

Piper hesitated only for a moment as her breath hitched. “You sir.”

“Correct. Now tell me, Red, has anyone claimed your ass?”

What could she tell him? No she didn’t because she was scared, or because no one ever tried to? Piper realized he must have felt her hesitation as before she could reply to his question, a smack came across her cheek. “No, sir,” she said hurriedly.

“I’m glad to hear that, Red. However, do not hesitate again when I ask you a question. I do not like to be kept waiting. Just so you know, I will take your sweet little ass, but I want it to be enjoyable for you, so we will just play first.” He loosened his hold on her ass and moved his fingers to her aching sex. She was panting as he skimmed his fingers through the small smattering of hair that covered her mound. “I do not want anything in the way when I play with my toy. Tonight I want you to shave this off. Now once again, Red, who does this belong to?” One of his fingers ran through her lips and started to slowly play with her throbbing clit.

Piper gasped at the feeling. “You, sir,” she panted out as his magical fingers played with her. Then before she would get her bearings, a finger was slipped inside her. Piper inhaled at the invasion.

“My sweet little toy, how many men have played with what is mine?”

STORY EXCERPT
Cooper Jackson was making the drive back from the city where he needed to pick up some supplies not found in town. Lucky, Montana was a small community and everybody looked out for one another. He would never trade it for the world. Running a ranch gave him a purpose and a scene of belonging to the town. Once he was over the mountain and heading down the long stretch of road on the other side, Cooper knew he was almost home. Listening to a country station, he drove as he was in a trance, not paying any attention was he went on his way. As he passed the Lucky 32 miles sign, he happened to notice dust and smoke coming up from the side of the road. Someone must have run off the road. He decided to stop as he had his truck and could help pull them out if they needed. Getting out of the truck, Cooper walked over to see if he could help. As he got closer, he noticed a small blue car was smashed up against the side of the ditch and the airbag was inflated.
Man, that car was totaled, and the smell of gas was everywhere. Hoping no one was hurt, he called out. When no one answered, he carefully went over to look at the driver. What he saw caught him off guard. A small auburn-haired woman was slumped over against the side window with blood running down her forehead. Cooper reached into his pocket for his phone and then called 911. He was informing the dispatcher of his location and about the woman in the car when he smelled smoke. He looked over at the car, and smoke was starting to billow out of the engine. She must have done some serious damage. With the smell of gas lingered in the air, Cooper knew he had to get the woman out of the car and quickly as it could go up in flames at any point. He tried to get the door open, but it was jammed. He ran around the other side and was able to crawl across the passenger side and pull the women out that way. Man was she tiny and light. She looked like she hadn’t eaten anything in weeks. Trying to be as careful as he could, he picked her up and ran up to the road to wait for rescue crews. He did a quick scan of her body to see the extent of all her injuries. He could see she had a nasty laceration on her head and bruising on her chest from her seat belt. Thank god she wore that. He looked down and noticed her wrist was swollen. She probably broke or sprained her wrist trying to take control of the car. Everything else looked okay.
Cooper held her in his arms, pushing the hair out of her face, and noticed how pale she looked. She must have lost a lot of blood. He took off his shirt and placed it on the cut on her head, hoping to stop the bleeding. When he covered the cut, she let out a painful moan. Her eyes started to flutter open, and she looked at him. She must have been startled as she tried to get out of his arms. “Whoa there, darlin’, you need to stay still,” he said as he ran his hands over her hair, trying to comfort her. He knew she had to stay still to make sure no more damage was done. She had been lucky she was not killed, but she needed to be checked out.
Riley didn’t know what was going on. The last thing she remembered was driving down a long stretch, playing with the radio, then a deer. “Oh my god, I crashed,” she said as the memories started coming back. Trying to gather her thoughts, she looked up and saw she was being held, and she didn’t know this person holding her. All she knew was she had to get away. She tried to get up but his arms held her down. He was gently rubbing his hands down her hair. Riley felt dizzy and leaned back on his lap. Trying not to throw up on him as the world was spinning around her, she took slow, deep breaths. Trying to think of something to say, she opened her mouth and was cut short by the sounds of an approaching emergency vehicle. The paramedics rushed over and started asking her questions about the date, where she was, and her name.
The paramedics loaded her up onto a stretcher, and the only thing she saw was a concerned look on her rescuer’s face as the doors shut.

ADULT EXCERPT
Lunch went by quick, and soon she found herself back at work. Cooper had not returned from his call out to one of the ranches, and the sheriff was nowhere to be found. Riley sat down and started filing the reports that were left on the desk. The door rang, and Riley looked up to a very pissed-off Cash.
“Where the hell were you? I tried calling you on the cell and here. Cooper is out on a damn call and the damn sheriff is gone. There is no one here with you. I agreed you could take this job as long as someone was here to watch you, and you ran off without a damn care in the world. Now where the fuck did you go?” Cash was screaming hostilely as he approached Riley, who was now backed against the wall of the office.
“I can do whatever the hell I want, Cash Jackson! But for your information, I went to lunch with Sam. It was nothing big, but I went there and came right back. So don’t go getting your panties all in a twist. No one is going to get me in here.”
“Kitten, you’re skating on thin ice. I have had just about enough and should put you over my knee and watch that tight ass turn bright pink and hot under my hand for not listening to me and Cooper. Then maybe you would think twice before putting yourself in any danger again.” Cash knew he was hanging on by a thread. His heart had stopped when he had not been able to get a hold of her, and he knew Coop was out on a call.
“You wouldn’t dare spank me. You talk a big talk, Cash, but you have used this line on me before and you haven’t once followed through. So go blow it out your ass.” Riley knew she shouldn’t be baiting him, but she had had enough of him telling her what she could and couldn’t do. As soon as the thought popped into her head, Cash was on her and dragging her into the sheriff’s office and locking the door.
“Oh, kitten, now you have done it.” Then the next thing Riley knew, she was being turned around, facing the desk, as Cash worked on the button of her jeans.
Cash was well aware that Riley was pushing her luck, but he was more than happy to play. He did warn her, and his palm twitched with anticipation of heating her ass up good. The stunt she pulled with her leaving and just now had earned her ten good spankings.
“Riley, I need you to know that I would do anything to keep you safe. This is a reminder that every time you don’t listen, I will spank your ass. Now bend over and don’t move, and you are not allowed to come until I tell you.”
And with that, Riley bent over the desk and held still. She knew he was worried and then threw it back in his face.
The excitement of being spanked had some sort of appeal to her, as she read about it in books but never experienced it. She was not one for pain, but she knew neither Cooper nor Cash would actually hurt her. The first smack came at her with a surprise. It hurt, but not as badly as she feared. Cash rubbed the area after each hit, but by the third smack she was feeling the pain morph into pleasure as it radiated down into her now-aching sex. She never knew that this pain could be so damn erotic and hot.
By the tenth smack, Riley was moaning after each one. Cash felt the zipper of his denim jeans creating an imprint on his cock. He leaned over and whispered into Riley’s ear, “You did great, kitten, but now I am going to fuck you, and you can come now.” He let his words penetrated Riley’s mind, while he lowered his zipper, and then he was inside her. Cash started a slow, rhythmic movement, grinding his hips when he was seated fully inside her. He could feel Riley quicken with pleasure as her walls started to grip him tight. Cash was aware that Riley was getting close as her breathing patterns increased and she panted with need, need for him. He started a punishing pounding rhythm as their bodies collided. It was the last of his control. He never thought Riley would let him spank her, as she seemed so timid and shy, but she accepted it without any hesitations. The fact that she submitted to him made his cock strain with need. The sensations started to build at the base of his spine, and his balls drew up.

Professional Reviews for Just Her Luck
4 STARS: "Love is a battlefield. Riley is on the run, and when things take a turn for the worse, she ends up in a small town just outside of Canada. Not one to rely on others, she is unprepared for the two strangers who sweep in and help her in her darkest hour and steal her heart along the way. Cooper and Cash never expected to be helping this mysterious beauty, but they are falling hard and don't want to let her go. This story is hot, hot, hot! This fast paced love story is full of thrilling drama, heart stopping action, and two sizzling heroes that will knock your socks off. There was a bit of mystery about Riley's past that kept me guessing, but what I loved most was the relationship between Riley and her two saviors. Riley is an independent woman who is not used to getting help from others, but Cooper and Cash are determined to teach her that and a few other things. Cooper and Cash are devilishly handsome with personalities to match. I loved seeing these two show Riley what it really means to love. This is a sweet and action packed romance that is sure to knock you off your feet!" -- Katie Cody, The Romance Reviews
