“Why?” Karson turned to face his mate.
“Why would you be so kind to me after everything we’ve been through? After
everything I’ve done to you and your family?”
He had to know what his mate was
thinking. He needed to hear it from him.
Marcus shrugged. “Because, Karson.
You’re my mate and even though we might be over, I still care about what
happens to you.”
His heart broke and Karson could no
longer hold back. He wrapped his arms around Marcus’s neck as their lips
locked. Tasting Marcus after five years apart nearly sent him over the edge.
Their tongues entwined as Marcus took control of the kiss. His large hands
grabbed at Karson’s smaller frame, tugging at his hips and drawing him in
closer.
His cock was instantly hard to for his
mate as Karson’s body responded to Marcus’s touches. He wanted more. He knew he
was beyond the point of being sated by just speaking to Marcus. He wanted to
feel him again. He wanted to belong to him again.
Marcus bit down on Karson’s lip and he
whimpered from the pain that emanated from the spot he’d nibbled.
“Who do you belong to?” Marcus growled
as his hands reclaimed Karson’s body in urgency, groping at his ass through the
confines of his jeans.
Karson’s head was spinning as his wolf
eagerly submitted to his mate’s call. “I belong to you,” Karson breathed.
Marcus let out a low chuckle against the
exposed flesh on his throat. “Then come back with me and prove to me that you
still love me.”
Karson knew he should have said no. He
should have pulled away and walked out that door, but he just couldn’t do it
again. He belonged to Marcus, heart, body, and soul.
“Anything you want.”

What's your most memorable kiss?

List of Participants in the Slippery When Wet Blog Hop
Lol. Nosy, nosy Lexi.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. My most memorable kiss happened on June 4, 2013 (Yup. I remember the date. I don't think I'll ever forget it. Lol). I had a crush on a colleague for months and that morning, we were both at the agency early enough. We'd been chatting and I needed to plug in my phone charger, so I bent down to do so. Didn't know he was right behind me. When I stood up and turned around, he had this smile on his face and said I presented my ass to him on purpose. I opened my mouth to refute that statement, when he covered my lips with his and slid his tongue into my mouth. I internally shouted a hallelujah, kissed him back and buried my fingers in his braids. Shit! Remembering that just has me feeling all tingly inside again ;).

Aw! That's romantic and sexy. Definitely a memorable kiss!
DeleteMy most memorable kiss was the first one I shared with my husband when we were dating. It was fall and we both had chapped lips :)
ReplyDeleteMy most memorable kiss happened on a business trip to New York. The conference had an aerobics class (remember those?) and right after I was desperate for bagels and coffee. So I walk down Fifth Avenue in my sweaty aerobics gear. I see an stunning business man with the briefcase and Burburry coat. I'm trying to look at him without him knowing, but I blew it. He grabs me, there on the crowded street, and dips me all the way to the ground in a kiss--on the corner of the mouth. He stands me up, walks off--and bystanders applaud. Such a dramatic and silly kiss, we were both laughing.

I love those random moments *sigh* it's been so long since I've been spontaneous like that lol.
DeleteMy most memorable kiss...hmmm, sad to say, I think I need to go with my "first kiss". (Been kind of downhill since way back then)
ReplyDeleteMine was my first - under the trees with the moonlight overhead.

My most memorable kiss was from my one true love after our first date. Oh, the man could kiss. He set my entire body on fire. I wanted nothing more than to be with him and I could tell he wanted the same; I had never wanted anyone on a first date before. michelle_willms@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteThat's how it was for me and my fiance. Instant sparks!

I guess I'd say my husband and mine first kiss. It was on the way home from a date and I just pulled him into the shadows and attacked lol. The next day we started dating and here we are 15 years later :)

My most memorable kiss would have to be the one my fiance gave me after I said yes to his proposal.

My first kiss "sigh". I was 13 and riding on the handlebars of the boy across the street's bike. He stopped under a big tree and laid one on me and did not let me fall off the bike. He was 15 and had so much more experience "snicker". Aahh youth, good times.

Nice excerpt, Lexi! I don't know the backstory because I haven't read this series, but I'm a sucker for people coming back together after years apart.
ReplyDeleteAs for me, two kisses come to mind. The first kiss, of course. I was late bloomer (18), so the first kiss turned into the first make-out session in a bed. I just remember my body feeling like it was burning up from the inside. I also remember how sore my tongue was afterward. The second would be when I went to New York for the first time and didn't see but a few glimpses of it on the way from the airport in the cab because I was too busy kissing. I think my exact words were, "I'll see it later."
Thanks for being part of the hop and sharing with us!

Last Kiss Goodbye is the first in the series so the book gives more background to the characters than the teaser :)
DeleteThe second kiss definitely sounds like one of my most memorable kisses. Me and my fiance on our second date were cooking pizza and sat down to watch TV while the timer was going. He surprised me with a kiss just as the timer went off and when he told me he needed to go get the pizza before it burned, I just pulled him closer and told him we could just order out. Needless to say, the pizza was very much ruined but totally worth it!
Thanks for the giveaway and for participating. My memorable kisses were from my parents when they kiss me goodnight. I really miss them now.

Me being the incredibly introverted and shy person that I am, how about I tell you about my only kiss? Which happened when I was six. In the church hallway. With one of my friends Dustin who I haven't seen in like 10 years. I really need to get out more. *sighs*

Definitely kissing my honey in the Memphis International Airport in December 2004, when we finally met offline, and that kiss brought many more along on the way back down to Mississippi. ☺

My hubby and I have been together almost 10 years, we have an 8 year old son and my most memorable kiss was he one he planted on me on the day we brought our son home. Obviously after just having a baby it wasn't to initiate anything, but it was full of passion and love. Then he looks me in the eye and says... "Thank you...Mamma." wendynjason04@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThose kisses are the best <3
DeleteThe first kiss with my boyfriend.

It was at a college party with my crush.

Huh. I think that would be my very 1st kiss in the sixth grade by my 1st boyfriend David. I made light headed. Lol
